Agile and Scrum methodologies have been making steady inroads in software development, achieving efficiency, early delivery and increased customer satisfaction. One frequently asked questions is: can it work with distributed teams?
This presentation will provide several case studies of how agile practices, and in particular Scrum, was fundamental towards successful delivery of high-profile and time-sensitive projects, what best practices made it possible, and how to bridge the distances in distributed software development environment.
The presentation will be in English.

Silvana Wasitova has extensive experience delivering mission-critical software development projects at large multinational corporations in Canada, USA, Germany and France: Nortel Networks, Cadence Design Systems and Yahoo! Inc.
Silvana holds a Bachelor?s in Mathematics and Computer Science, a Masters in Engineering Management, is certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and CSM (Certified Scrum Master).
Silvana was the 2004 President of PMI Silicon Valley Chapter in California, and is currently an Agile Coach with Itecor.
